Wow. My local Redmond Ducati dealership shut down

Along with 4 other dealerships, including the Seattle proper Ducati. That’s a huge blow. I think this means the greater Seattle area doesn’t have a Ducati dealership anymore.

Also, can we no longer edit posts? And why do post times still not work properly? If I switch from AM to PM, it still posts as AM. And the margins are still cut off on the left in the mobile editor. And wtf is up with mobile notifications? Why do they keep making me click different places to open up a notification? #kinjahelp

Kinja has been more broken than normal for me today. Seems like they’ve pushed something out prematurely again.

I wish there was more discourse between the users and the help team. I can't recall the last update that brought good or even neutral features, every new addition seems to make the platform more difficult and less intuitive to use.

I’ve had tons of problems on Kinja lately. 2 weeks ago I couldn’t see any replies or edit posts for the full week. Then the same thing again 3 days last week. Then the same today. Everything seems to be working if I switch back to Explorer though as a browser.

Are you also experiencing problems getting it to work with Firefox? I always need to reload the page to properly load the comments.

Wow, I had no idea. Back a good decade or so ago when I was into it, I shopped both with Hinshaws in Auburn and the local Ducati store (then located just off NE 20th in Bellevue) and they were both always good to deal with, and more than willing to let me test anything I wanted (even if the bike was a bit much for my ability).

The improved search is actually improved, and I think the ability to sort comments is relatively new as well?

There have been a few things they’ve fixed as well.

In the past Chrome has obviously been their testing target (and if you are only targeting one, that’s the choice), but yeah a lot of stuff has been broken recently.

That sucks, that cross of ducati as a potential from the list then (from lack of proximity to a service center, if needed), or you still looking at further away dealers?

First adventure for the mall crawler will be to the mall for a photoshoot. Might even get cute and put a tire up on one of the curbs to show it’s off road prowess.

But for real first big trip will probably come next year, it will be my winter commuter all rainy season.

They are an amazing deal right now.
